Have I missed news on New Money Honey & foal? I’ve been searching for a week now?

3/31/2020 update on Foal Patrol is that New Money Honey and her foal are doing well. FP simply gave this status. Reading between the lines, it seems like that's all the owners gave them. FP said they wanted to respect the owners and not give out any information unless the owners share it.

Seems the owners gave up on FP for some reason.

While I understand that fans or people in general can be crazy and I understand the desire for privacy, you can't sign up for something like Foal Patrol and then get mad or "give up" on FP when you are naturally asked for updates from FP and fans.

We don't know what the deal is of course, this is just my view of the "between the lines" stuff.

Sure they can. They aren't getting paid to do it, they get asked or volunteer. If the owner doesn't want their mare featured anymore they can pull the plug at any point.

I mean, they can. They absolutely can. And they did. Chrome's owners did it, and it looks like New Money Honey's owners did as well. Though calling it getting mad or giving up seems a bit silly. E5 is not a massive racing operation, and if they really care about New Money Honey's foal and her wellbeing, they are probably stressed and tired and focusing on the horses' recovery and trying not to get either their (or their fans) hopes up. It's a day by day process. It's great when owners are open and willing to share information, but fans are not obligated to receive regular updates from an operation that probably doesn't have a marketing team, bloodstock manager, publicist, etc.
