While I love chestnuts and chestnuts with blazes, Justify seems to be passing on wide, sloppy blazes that I really don't like. They're cute on foals, though.

I get what you are saying. I love flashes of color, but I do not find the excessive splashes all that attractive- just don't like white over the knees or hocks or a really wide blaze or mask.

The Player had another foal recently, a filly, whose mother was apparently "not so motherly" and they had to get a foster mare for her.

Looks like things are going well! So far all of the Angus babies I've seen have been chestnut.

I believe I also read the foals biological mare won't be bred back..this is the second foal she'd had difficulty raising
