After the race when he was going to the winner circle, I thought I saw blood around his mouth.

Bob Donaldson, owner of SPUN TO RUN along with owner of Midnight Bisou are saying Max Security should be stripped of his wins in Cigar Mile and Saudi Cup. Questions also circulating about all of MS's races. Arrest of Servis putting all races in question.

End of this article is SPUN TO RUN's current status.
He finished 2nd to Max Security in the G1 Cigar Mile and 3rd to Max Security in the G1 Haskell.
Maybe Spun to Run gets declared the winner of Cigar Mile and 2nd place in Haskell. Spun to Run would get $262,500 purse money in Cigar Mile and $100,000 more in Haskell if moved up. Plus a bigger value for stud deal due to multipe g1 winner and 2nd in Haskell

"I've been a little shocked," he said. "I'm just waiting for the (New York State) Gaming Commission to do the right thing, and if they don't, then I'll have to do what I have to do. I'm waiting for everybody to just sit back, do the right thing, clean this up, pull (Maximum Security) down (from his Cigar Mile win) and move forward. But if they don't do the right thing with this, I'm going to really reconsider whether I belong in this game.
"When it comes down to something like this it's really sad and it's not fair. It just shocks you to the core. Not that you didn't know something had to be happening, because the percentages don't lie. If you can't play on an even playing field if you're in this business, to me it's just so unsettling right now. There's highs and lows, but this is certainly a low.
"But when it gets better, it's going to get better for all. If you're in this thing and doing it right, nobody's got anything to hang their head about."
Spun to Run, who was scratched from the Jan. 25 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes Presented by Runhappy (G1) due to a skin condition, is currently turned out in Kentucky.
"I'm giving him some time," Donaldson said of the Hard Spun colt. "I had him at Patty Hogan's and she's done a phenomenal job with him. I thought, 'Let me send him down there and give him a break.' His coat looks like a million bucks right now. He's just grazing and getting his head down. He had a tough campaign."

I was having the same thoughts. He would be Hard Spun's first male MG1W on dirt. (I think he had one on grass in England) Glad to hear he is looking good these days. Looking forward to seeing him when he returns.MTO wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 6:49 pm He finished 2nd to Max Security in the G1 Cigar Mile and 3rd to Max Security in the G1 Haskell.

GREEN LIGHT GO breezed today for the first time since his fever. He is targeting the G3 Bay Shore Stakes for 3yo on the Wood Memorial undercard. Looks like he is off the Derby Trail. Disappointing because after his first two last summer I thought for sure he was going to be a Derby horse. Nothing has gone right for him since.

TIMELINE is entered in race #8 at Oaklawn Park on Sunday, Mar 15. Horrible idea. Hard Spun hated that surface and none of his progeny have done anything there. Please prove me wrong, Timeline! Another HS baby AREEMAA is entered there in a maiden race (race 9) that day, too.

Hard Not To Love finished 2nd in the Beholder Mile today. She had PP1 and they sent her rather than dropping back. Didn't work out. She went pretty fast early. Perhaps too fast.

Interesting observation about Hard Not To Love. If you look at her PPs below, all her wins have come after a 2-month rest. Her only losses after a 1-month rest. Wondering if she just needs that extra time to recoup, considering she is confronting anxiety in addition to the race itself. May take more out of her.
