He's registered DKB/BR but I think Isotherm (Lonhro x Game For More, by More Than Ready) is probably actually black. He doesn't have the brown on his muzzle. He'll be 7 in 2020 so I'm sure he now has some sun bleaching but I've been looking at pics of him and I'm pretty sure he's black. It fits with the pedigree as well because Lonhro is brown, and his mom is dark bay.

French-bred Jon Snow (Le Havre x Saroushka, by Westerner) is registered brown but is likely black or black/brown.

Nihonpiro Ours (White Muzzle x Nihonpillow Lunipus, by Admire Vega) is registered black/brown. He won the 2012 G1 Japan Cup Dirt during his career. He also has a cute little grayish-white snip on his nose.

Ebullience (Fairbanks x Effervescent, by Citidancer) is only registered dark bay/brown (and I see a little brown on his nostril) but he's so lovely I'll put him here anyway.

When Bells Clang (Clang x Myrtle, by Cossack Warrior) is a 2000 model registered black. Can't really find a lot of information on him, but apparently he is standing in Queensland and was sold via online auction at one point. I really like his name.

Tibasti, a newly turned 3yo by Dabirsim out of Almahroosa (Green Tune) is registered as black. His third dam is Capo di Monte whose progeny includes Dream Ticket, dam of Magic Mission, herself dam of Talismanic.

I just looked him up because I didn't recognize his breeding. But apparently he had his name changed when he was 7. It used to be Toss The Nostril. I wonder if that is slang for something? Seems odd that they'd allow a 7yo to have his name changed. But he definitely has a better name now. He has 20 foals of racing age, 3 starters, no winners, no earnings. Can't really find a better picture but Wanaasah (Cape Cross x Eldalil, by Singspiel) pulled a "Highland Reel Breeders' Cup" at Wolverhampton yesterday...only she was like 10 lengths ahead of the others the entire time and she won by daylight. Race was apparently so bad all the other jockeys were asked to explain themselves. Wanaasah is registered...bay, but both parents are brown, so she's probably black.

Beechwood Jim Bob (Footstepsinthesand x Clodovina, by Rock of Gibraltar) is owned by Middleham Park Racing and trained by Mark Johnston. He's registered on Racing Post and Pedigree Query as black, but on Middleham's site he is listed as bay/brown. His dam is half to sire Clodovil. He's a maiden in two stars but is entered to run on Jan 28 and Jan 29 at Southwell and Kempton, respectively.

Waldorf won in Hong Kong this week. He is a registered black thoroughbred by Highly Recommended out of Skite (Pins) he most likely gets his colour from Centaine in his dams line
