First foal for Destin is a colt out of Jurere (Take Charge Indy). In an interesting twist, the baby looks like grandpa (or at least he does for now, he could possibly gray out). The colt's third dam is Weekend Surprise. Colt was bred by Saratoga Glen Farm.

Colt is also a descendant of Sun Princess, who won the G1 Epsom Oaks and G1 St. Leger and was second to All Along in the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
