Both Old Topper and Sea of Secrets are senior stallions, so that's no surprise...but I'm really sorry to see Coil on that list.
I'd so hoped he would be that successful sire son that Point Given hasn't had. I wonder if they've completely given up on him and he'll be gelded, or if they'll wait and see if someone wants a breeding in the future?

He never sired a stakes winner. He didn't cover any mares in 2019 and only 9 in 2018. Wouldn't be surprised if he is gelded, he isn't that old.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 3:34 am Both Old Topper and Sea of Secrets are senior stallions, so that's no surprise...but I'm really sorry to see Coil on that list.

Point Given is the paternal grandsire of Kukulkan, there’s that. Baffert keeps a brood mare or two around, if he wouldn’t breed to Coil, it’s probably time to geld him.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 3:34 am Both Old Topper and Sea of Secrets are senior stallions, so that's no surprise...but I'm really sorry to see Coil on that list.

Kind of old news, he was bought along with Bodemeister last month. Myboycharlie was bought before those two.MorganLeFay wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 2:39 pm Authorized has also been sold to Turkey!

Point Determined is the leading stallion in Mexico but that's not saying much, honestly.Curtis wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 12:56 pmPoint Given is the paternal grandsire of Kukulkan, there’s that. For what it's worth Monarchos's best son Win Willy is also standing in Mexico.

The two-time Dubai World Cup winning, dual surface G1 winning, US dirt MG1 placing Thunder Snow will be standing for the equivalent of around $18K. Hawkbill will be standing for $9K.

Alan Sherman announced today that he is going to accompany Chrome to Japan. Taylor Made is making that possible. In recent months we've seen some wonderful photos and videos of Alan visiting Chrome at Taylor Made. The bond between that horse and Alan is something special.

ZiggyPop, I have been a long-time member of a Facebook site called California Chrome's Foals. It is a well-run site and they have posted tons of photos and videos of Chrome and his foals for several years now. I would happily share some here, but am concerned about violating the photographers' copyrights. Alan moved to Kentucky last summer and has visited Chrome often. Gilberto, the TM stallion manager, taught Chrome to bow. He showed that off for Alan. Also, Chrome remembered the hat game Alan taught him back when Chrome was a 2-year-old. The same group that has the bigger California Chrome's Foals site also has one named Chrome - National Treasure. You can find a ton of Chrome pics and some videos there too.Ziggypop wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 6:56 pmWhere have you seen pics and videos? Devastating news from Cambridge Stud as they today had to make the decision to put to sleep their champion sire Tavistock (Montjeu) aged about 14 due to complications from his freak paddock accident 8 weeks ago. This is the 3rd stallion they have lost in the past few months from I think 6 that were to stand this year.
Roaring Lion - colic
Burgundy - laminitis
