Midcourt just won the Gr 3 Native Diver. He’s a son of Gr 1 winner Mayo On the Side. Glad to see Mayo’s last foal seems to be a good one since she passed last year. I had the pleasure of working with him as a foal.

G3 Cattleya Sho winner Dieu du Vin (Declaration of War) is out of a full sister to G3 winner Tapicat.

His third dam, Trail Robbery, is a full sister to MGSW Train Robbery, the dam of Cat Thief. Fourth dam is MG1W Champion mare Track Robbery.

Also, his name is "God of Wine" in French.

Well, heck Faversham may have decided he doesn't mind the racing business after all. He was 5th out of 11 in the open allowance at CD, but he only missed third by a neck with his rally. The winner was much the best. This field I would imagine is slightly better than what he was running up the track against in Indiana, but I don't know. Maybe he is more of a cold weather runner or likes the mud.
