CATCHING UP.....

On January 1 Hard Spun had the exacta in race #8 at Fairgrounds. This was a 1 1/8 mile turf that was taken off the turf. Race was run on a sloppy track.
Hard Aces finished 1st and Dynamical finished 2nd. Hard Aces was MTO.

MORE CATCHING UP....

Ghaamer won race # 5 at Meydan Racecourse on January 2. He really kicked away from them and the horse that ran with him early finished 11th. Sounds like what Hard Spun used to do.

Midnight Transfer runs today in the Midnight Lute at Santa Anita. First time since May.

Midnight Transfer was the favorite but finished 4th of 4. He probably needed the race and a mile is probably a bit long for him.

Truly Marie finished well back in her race. I didn't check the results, but she was well out of it.

Textiles won race #8 at Cranbourne in Australia. It's been a while since he was in the winner's circle...last April. His record is now 13-3-1-0.
