Snap Decision just won the 2-1/2 mile $100, 000 Foxbrook Champion Hurdle Stakes at Far Hills, NJ. That was so much fun to watch. The National Steeplechase Association has live streaming on their website.
He is now 6-4-2-0 over hurdles. He has won 4 in a row and the last 2 have been stakes wins. He won today by about 4 lengths. Tracked in second until just before the last jump, then took over and pulled away. He was the high weight and carried 156 lbs. Others ranged from 154 to 145.

Will post replay when available.

The soft ground didn't seem to bother him either! I hope you are right about the superhorse!

Here is the replay for Snap Decision's win in the Foxbrook yesterday. The video has all the races. His is race #4 at 23:00 on the program. They interview the jockey and owner after the race. Jockey said riding him is like driving a Ferrari. Lol!

Oh, just saw your post. Sorry, I didn't see it when I posted mine about the dirt Mile. Great news about Lucullan. Would so love to see Hard Spun get a BC champ! He's had runners in the Classic and Turf and maybe others, (Did Hard Not To Like run in the F&M Turf one year? Can't recall), but they never hit the board in any of them. Can you imagine what would happen if Spun to Run beat Omaha Beach? Racing would implode. But Spun to Run really ran well in his last race. Interesting that they aren't working him. They are racing him instead. Old school.

Lucullan will face Got Stormy again. Half length separated them at Woodbine. Thinking Bricks and Mortar will go in the Turf instead of this one, according to what I've read. Lucullan needs some defections to get in, though. He is third on the AE list.

I am so glad you are posting on here, MTO. Much of the time I've felt like I've been talking to myself. :)

LUCULLAN needs one more horse to drop out of the Turf Mile before he can enter. He's officially 3rd in line for AE. #1 and #2 AEs are already due a spot due to other pre-entries(Bricks and Mortor and Just Wonderful) choosing 1st choice races instead of the Turf Mile. Any additional drop outs will result in LUCULLAN getting a spot in the Turf Mile.

If anyone hears about another Turf Mile dropout, please let us know, as this means LUCULLAN gets in.

This is interesting regarding the Mile: "After Trais Fluors comes Lucullan, whose connections have a right to be miffed at rating so low in the selections process. Lucullan was disqualified from a third-place finish in the Grade 1 Woodbine Mile but then won the Grade 2 Knickerbocker. Just Wonderful, who was selected into the field, has zero wins from seven starts this year and her closest loss was a third-place finish in the Group 1 Matron, which is sex-restricted. Hey Gaman, another selected runner, also brings shaky credentials." Makes you wonder how the selection process is adjudicated!

Any websites which list the latest news for Breeders Cup entrants? Such as when they shipped or will ship from Europe and whether any pre-entrants decided not to run?

Trying to figure out if LUCULLAN will get into the Mile. He's AE for now.

Sounds like good news for Lucullan, but not sure why. No explanation provided.

EDIT: Sadly, I just read that Line of Duty suffered a fatal injury in England, so won't be in the Mile.

EDIT #2: More info on defections: https://www.drf.com/news/defections-lea ... mile-field

Thanks for the update, Happy Endings.

Same owner (Godolphin) for Line of Duty and Lucullan.
