3yo Hard Spun colt trained by Joe Sharp. Stakes winning sprinter. Last ran May 28 on Preakness undercard in Chick Lang Stakes. Stumbled at start and didn't run well. Wonder if he got hurt and took time off.
I remember Malpais. I haven't heard anything. I've been wondering about Out For A Spin, too. Nothing since KY Oaks day. It's really hard not to worry when these horses just drop off the map all of a sudden. I hope they are both okay and just taking a breather.

Rocketry finished 4th, beaten 9.5 lengths in the Grand Prix American Jockey Club Inv. at Belmont on 9/7/19. The race was won by Marconi, a half brother to Mucho Macho Man.

Awesome news! Thanks for sharing. I remember Makybe Diva, she was a huge champion in Australia. Great story about the jockey and trainer!

Afleet Destiny entered in the G1 Cotillion at Parx on Saturday, September 21.
Spun to Run entered in the G1 PA Derby at Parx on Saturday, September 21.

Both up against stiff competition. Noticed Spun to Run has the highest last race speed rating. Big jump from his run in the Haskell. Seems he is really improving of late. Hope he doesn't bounce. This is only 3 weeks between races.
