Sottsass won the Prix Niel (G2) today, the Longchamp Arc prep for 3yos
A majorly pinheaded ride from Cristian Demuro almost lost it. It was so epically bad that it was pretty much all the announcer on the ATR feed could focus on. How do you let your heavy favorite get boxed in like that in 5-HORSE FIELD?! And only 3 were competition for Sottsass, since his stablemate/pacemaker obviously wasn't meant to beat him.

Personal Time was 2nd and Tapability chugged home 3rd.
Tapability broke his maiden yesterday in R4 at Gulfstream Park. He is now a gelding.

*ouch* No peppermints for you!

When was he gelded? I remember reading that he was very aggressive, more than his dam was and Groupie Doll was noted for being, well, assertive about things.

Do we know why he had that year-long break between his debut run (Jan 2018) and his second start (Jan 2019)?

Gorgeous. I suspect this son of Blixen is not likely to be gelded like his half-bro. ;)

Longonot is an attractive colt with a bright future. I assume he will go to Dubai for the racing carnival next spring.

And hopefully the US.

Papa Pyro is reported by Darley to have 78% winners from his first four crops. He dominates the dirt sires in Japan.
