The race was impacted by heavy rain, but Dunbar Road was still best.

Cambria (Speightstown) won the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Turf Sprint Stakes over males and females. The other filly in the field, How Ironic (Tonalist), finished fourth.

Filly Abyssinian is entered in the G3 Franklin-Simpson Stakes at Kentucky Downs this week. Gonna try to tackle the boys again.

Not that I expect these races to have stellar fields and she's a highly talented girl but that's a tad ambitious, donchathink?

The Spinster and the Zenyatta are also on Cox’s radar, though I honestly believe they’ll draw more competitive fields than the former two.

Must be residual effects of the colic.
Next announcement likely to be entry into the November Sale?

Doubtful. For months their plan has been to race her in 2020 and hopefully compile a HOTY campaign. It’ll likely be another California Chrome campaign; too many setbacks at 4 to make it to the races, dominate at 5.Horsebagger wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 3:21 pm https://www.horseracingnation.com/news/ ... rs_Cup_123

Actually, 'for months' their plan was to defend her BC Distaff win. My point is, stop swallowing the public propaganda. Maybe i'm wrong, but I'll be stunned if Weisbord doesn't convince Kumin, Dubb and crew to sell her now as part of his November consignment.KatieK101 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 3:25 pmDoubtful. So because I believe her connections will run her in 2020, I’m “swallowing public propaganda“? How about I just don’t think that because they’re skipping Breeder’s Cup means she’s going to retire.Horsebagger wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 3:37 pmActually, 'for months' their plan was to defend her BC Distaff win. It would be awesome to watch her defend her Breeder’s Cup win, but honestly what good would it do? Midnight Bisou has the Eclipse locked, and it sounds like she wouldn’t get a prep race in now, anyway. Why risk it?

Don't you know that being optimistic and attempting to trust the word of people is literally the worst, dumbest thing ever?KatieK101 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 4:09 pmSo because I believe her connections will run her in 2020, I’m “swallowing public propaganda“? I don’t trust her people anymore than I trust anyone else’s. However, we’ve seen connections deliver on things like this before (again, the aforementioned California Chrome). Of course that doesn’t guarantee she’ll race again, but I choose to believe she will until her connections say otherwise.Mylute wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 4:17 pmDon't you know that being optimistic and attempting to trust the word of people is literally the worst, dumbest thing ever?KatieK101 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 4:09 pmSo because I believe her connections will run her in 2020, I’m “swallowing public propaganda“? If you want to operate by that bleak mindset, have at it. It’s all yours.

Got Stormy finished second to her “uncle” El Tormenta. Really wanted her to win, but it’s always nice to see Sam-Son get a G1, especially with a member of the No Class family.Starine wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 9:17 pm Filly Got Stormy Draws Post Five, Favoritism In Woodbine Mile
