Simple Game(JPN), 2017C. Heart's Cry(JPN) x Willa B Awesome(USA), broke his maiden very impressively going 1800m dirt at Nakayama on Sep 7th 2019.

I like these Heart's Cry x US top dirt mares cross which can be seen rarely to date.
I do think that some of them will be capable of winning dirt G1s in the US some day.

Marconi Goes The Distance In Grand Prix American Jockey Club
Marconi overcame a slow start to lead a talented six-horse field through a romping wire-to-wire score in Saturday's inaugural $300,000 Grand Prix American Jockey Club Invitational at Belmont Park.
From the article:
By Tapit, Marconi is out of the Ponche broodmare Ponche de Leona, who also produced 2013 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Mucho Macho Man. He is owned by Bridlewood Stable, Mrs. John Magnier, Derrick Smith and Michael Tabor. He was purchased for $2 million from the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in 2016.

The Tapits really seem to love 12 furlongs at Belmont.

via Twitter, Al Jannah (JPN - Deep Impact x Condo Commando/USA) has won his debut at Hanshin over 2000m... Graham Pavey called it an "impressive" win but checking Japan Racing it also looks like there were only five entrants.
Still, looking forward to more from this colt!

The first post about Al Jannah referred to "her," so I had the impression this youngster was a filly. If I knew he was a colt, I might not have compared him to Zenyatta.
Or, maybe I still would have.

Yeah you weren't the only one (we're both blind I guess, it's obvious when I go back and *look* at the photo) There was a filly (by Novellist) in the race, actually... chart is here:BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 11:37 pm The first post about Al Jannah referred to "her," so I had the impression this youngster was a filly. And the second-place runner was by I'll Have Another out of a Deep Impact mare.

Tank Commander (War Front x Treasure Trail) just broke his maiden at Churchill Downs in a very Zenyatta like fashion . Treasure Trail is o/o Vertigineux and half to Balance, Zenyatta and Eblouissante.
eta - he's full sibling to Long Island Sound which I didn't even realize when I added him to my v stable.

2018 Derby winner Wagnerian had won the same race two years ago.
We might see him in classic races next year.

He looks really talented. I wonder what path Coolmore will take with him. The race was a WAYI for the BC, but there are a couple more options in Europe before the end of the season. Or they could put him away with an eye toward the classics next year.

In the post race interview, O'Brien mentioned how patient they were with his brother, Japan. After Japan won a G2 on his third start as a two year old (Sept 30), they put him away until the Dante Stakes in May of this year at York. It sounded like Mogul could race once more or be put away for the season.mariasmon wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 10:29 amHe looks really talented. I wonder what path Coolmore will take with him.
