Super Saver has three G1 winners- Runhappy, Embellish the Lace, and Competitive Edge. Technically four if you count his South American one (I think it's just one).

His last G1 win was like, 2016? And Runhappy is his only multiple G1 winner. Other than Super Steed, I can't think of a GSW he's had in the last year or so. All of this is from the top of my head.

So yes, I guess you could say that about Super Saver. But, last two years he's gotten books of 100+ so it doesn't look like that's slowing him down.

I would say that POTN is a different story. He has sired several nice horses, but his best runners (other than AP) are probably still to come; the quality of mares he was getting more than likely improved greatly after 2015. He is also a special case because he died relatively young so it will be interesting to see what everything looks like 5 years down the road.
