His offspring sold well and at a good price at Keeneland November and this January.
The full book is the marketplace reacting to the recent auctions. I'm glad....Gio will
get a fair chance to succeed.

You will see a bigger book for Dunkirk as well.

A huge favourite of mine. His foals all looked so consistently balanced. Didn't see one I didn't like.

I'm really happy he's being supported so well.

Ken Wilkins of Spendthrift said spots to get Flat Out as part of "Share the Upside" program sold out in 2hrs
He is the type of horse who should be sold out in 2 hours. I cannot wait to see what he produces.

Not sure if it's just a bad photo but I don't see anything about him that I like.

KRA photographers strike again -- one of the worst head shots ever? ;-)

I still snicker when I look at this pic. It's epic.

Who is that horse? Is it Rock Hard Ten? If it is, they have managed to make a handsome, imposing stallion look like a stable hack.
And I have to say that Hansen, who was known for being a, um, high-energy colt, looks really unhappy. From the marks on his nose, I'd say he's had his chain yanked...a LOT.

Epic, indeed. Well, they couldn't be bothered to get Hansen's head gear straight, but at least they didn't attack him with the dreaded scissors.

I feel a bit sorry for him, as it appears he knows he looks ridiculous, but it's just hilarious. He looks like Moe from The 3 Stooges. The fact that he has a huge head just makes it funnier to me.

He's a horse and he doesn't know how his hair looks. I think he looks bright-eyed and alert, which means he probably is doing alright.

I am with you on both accounts. Neither of them look happy, and the marks on Hansen's head...

They do not do a good job with the photos, for any of them.

As I understand it, the KRA photos are taken mostly for registration and identification purposes -- not to entice breeders.

Yes- you can pull up any horse in their book- gives a front, back and either side view.

People are ALWAYS looking for something wrong with horses being exported to other countries. It's pretty obnoxious to assume they are not being cared for in South Korea or Japan. Why would these farms pay tens of thousands/hundreds of thousands/millions on these horses to treat them like crap? They are valuable animals, even in foreign places such as South Korea! Those marks on Hansen's head could be from him wacking his head on the fence or in his stall. Have you been around horses? They are idiots (sometimes).

The reason they are sold is because the price was right. Stallions like Rock Hard Ten weren't getting it done in Kentucky, money was offered, it just so happens it was the KRA that got the horse. He could've just as well sold to a little farm in New Mexico or Alberta. Are North Americans just that much better? Have you SEEN the pictures of horses starving and injured at New Holland?

Stop assuming that everyone that makes a remark, is doing so ONLY because the horse left the country. If Lane's End posted a photo like Hansen's head shot, I would have said the same thing.
