Mystic Journey Creates History in Australian Guineas

Connections of Australian Guineas (G1) winner Mystic Journey could be destined for another huge payday in the $5 million All-Star Mile after she became the first Tasmanian-trained filly to win a race at the highest level.

The star Adam Trinder-trained Mystic Journey, the first horse prepared in the Apple Isle to win at the group 1 level since the introduction of the group system in the late 1970s, will take on older horses in the Flemington feature on her next start March 16.

I was just reading about Belvoir Bay. The Jaipur is one of the best races on the card; right up there with the Belmont and Met Mile for me. I'm very pleased it was finally awarded grade I status.

Wonder Gadot has retired and in the same breath Woodbine entertainment has unveiled a new bonus for the Canadian Triple Crown.
Can't help but to wonder "what if" for this filly... Still bitter about that fool's errand they sent her on. And still bitter she was interfered with in the stretch during the Oaks but MG stayed up.
I also question her management... she should've gotten the rest of the year off after the Travers and came back fresh as a 4yo.
"Nothing left to prove" is actually insulting.
But on the bright side I'm happy she's retiring sound. Wishing her a successful broodmare career.
