It is just the angle of the photo or did Animal Kingdom have an Arabian-like dish face as a newborn?

Could be the angle, but I have seen a few TB's that have a Arab look to them.Ridan_Remembered wrote:It is just the angle of the photo or did Animal Kingdom have an Arabian-like dish face as a newborn?

Animal Kingdom still has a very fine-boned head, with a fairly small muzzle. That Arabian/Barb/Turkish foundation blood still shows up in the look of some TBs.

Tiznow sure was a strong looking foal right from the start.
Love seeing these foal pics -- this is a great thread. Many thanks to you all for posting.

He sure was, and he had a lot of presence, didn't he. Even in that picture when he was so new and he was standing so awkwardly, you can see his quality.Della wrote:Tiznow sure was a strong looking foal right from the start.

Just goes to show that looks don't make the racehorse. If I was to judge the yearling Mizdirection off that one photo, it would take a lot of convincing to make me believe that was even a Thoroughbred let alone a future champion.DanLewis wrote:Thought I would post a few more baby pics: Here is a yearling photo of Breeders Cup Turf Sprint Champion Mizdirection

Lonhro, on the other hand, is already gorgeous as a wee one.
