Starr Bear is foaling!

ETA: shoot shoot shoot that came on so fast all of a sudden her tail was wrapped and she was pushing and they made her get back up, comments on the youtube feed say red bag but they haven't cut the camera feed yet

please let everything be okay, please please please

ETAA now she's back down again and pushing and I saw a foot and it seemed properly positioned? She's got someone in with her but he's not gloved or anything, but she seems to be pushing okay??

Baby Starr Bear is borned! A wee babby!

EDIT: I'm not knowledgeable in this aspect, so tell me, is it OK that they drag the foal around?

Baby is out and moving, Starr Bear is resting. Thank goodness, that was a little bit stressful.

Looks like a mostly solid chestnut, maybe a front sock? Mama is licking, it seems to be moving well.

They were just pulling it around so mama could clean/bond. Pulling by the legs doesn't hurt them.

So shocked to check her Foal Patrol page, and there was a foal standing with her in the stall. Seems just a couple of hours ago, I checked and she was laying there peacefully. Congratulations, Starr Bear and all your connections!

Spectre came over for the BC Mile in 2016 at Santa Anita. She finished 11th, and is quite lovely.

Got to say I’ve been looking forward to seeing this foal since we did the mating 16 months ago. Galileo colt ex Spectre (Siyouni). Only another 4 years and we’ll know if we got it right or not! #worthwaitingfor

Yesterday evening was very busy with three colts being born! First colt is a Connect out of Charlotte Lucas. Mare is out of Grade 2 winner Minister Wife. Second colt is a Summer Front out of Madame Clouseau (Ire). Mare is a full sister to At First Signt (Ire). Last is a Tapit out of Stakes winner and GR 1 placed Tiger Ride. This is her first foal.
