It doesn't seem that long ago that he won his 4th Gold Cup at Ascot. But then he didn't retire until he was eight. What a horse!

Here's another photo for comparison. A candid one from TDN.

Wasn't he retired due to leg injury?
Another case where I like the candid/casual pic much better... the foreleg position & shank chain IMO are much less distracting than the complete absence of visible feet. :-p

He had the beginnings of a tendon injury. If he had raced in the Belmont, he probably would have bowed a tendon. But since they caught it early and he recovered from it, shouldn't be anything noticeable.

I never really thought I'll Have Another would win any beauty contests.

Yeats, on the other hand, is gorgeous. And looking great for 18!

Yeats looks like he was painted by Richard Stone Reeves. I had no idea he was so handsome... and at age 18!

No Never No More (Scat Daddy), unraced due to injury and standing at Winding Creek in MD.

The farm keeps referring to him as a 3/4 brother to No Nay Never. I honestly can't remember whether that terminology is exactly accurate. They share a sire and their dams are half sisters (NNN's dam by Elusive Quality and NNNM's by Tiznow).

^^^^ They'd better get a professional photographer. Unless his legs really are that wonky.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Oh hello, giraffe neck... ;)
Then again, so many TBs seem to have short necks these days.

I hate when 3/4 sibling is used. The term brother/sister/sibling, should only be used when describing foals out of the same mare. I mean I've seen 3/4 sibling used with foals by the same sire out of half sisters, a mother and daughter, the same mare with foals by a stallion and his son or even 2 stallions that share a sire.

When a stallion's progeny aren't even considered siblings by the industry, how can a farm advertise a stallion as a 3/4 brother when it isn't? Is the truth so bad? By Scat Daddy out of a half-sister to the dam of No Nay Never? Don't you think some breeders would get turned off when they look and see the horse really isn't a 3/4 brother?
