They will get a proper shot of him in the spring or summer, but I'm still surprised they didn't stick to racing photos in the meantime (for advertising). Having said all that, the Galileo is pretty strong in Saxon Warrior.

Agreed, I see much more Galileo than Deep Impact in him. He's not as fine built as I was expecting being by DI.

Saxon Warrior looks seriously hungover, in more ways than one. Must have been one hell of a retirement party.

It's part of an ad, so it makes sense in that context. They haven't put the regular photo up on their website or on Stallion Register.

Is European Champion 3yo Sprinter even a category? No sprinter trained in Europe won more than one G1 in 2018... and I believe him and Sands of Mali were the only 3 year olds to win an open G1 sprint. Biiiiiiit of a stretch there in the marketing department. I would say that he was tough as hell before calling him a 3 year old champion of any kind.

The only sprinter to win more than 2 G1s was Jungle Cat, and despite being trained in England, he won his G1s in Dubai and Australia.

Its not a Cartier award and I can not find an official list. But each country also does their own awards so maybe he was named Champion 3yo sprinter in France, Ireland and the UK?

Maybe it's just me, and I'm no professional, but I like the casual shot better. :-p

He's leaning forward in the casual shot, but I think he also has too much weight on his left front in the "official" pic.
