It’s good to see The Player settling in nicely at Crestwood!

Thank you so much for posting the two pictures of The Player. Settling in nicely is an understatement, lol. I absolutely love humorous pictures of horses, and these are especially hilarious. Even his blanket is a hoot.

I think it's time I quit worrying about this big guy. He knows how to take care of himself. And so do the folks around him. Warms the heart to see him like this.

I hope I'll Have Another is well-received in California. He's one of the better additions to their breeding industry in the last few years. He did well for himself in Japan considering their market.

No words for how great it was to see The Player ⁦@CrestwoodKY⁩ this afternoon. One of the best stories to come out of 2018. And he couldn’t have a sweeter demeanor.

Thanks for posting the photos of Beach Patrol -- he looks very well.

His sire Lemon Drop Kid was one of my favorite racehorses ever so I did follow this particular son. I hope he is well supported in Japan; I know they like the Kingmambo line! ;)

In Australia FSS Menari (Snitzel) will return to training after failing to fire in his first season at stud. He got 20 mares in foal from an estimated 150 booked mares.

In fairness we can expect a lot of fertility numbers to be down this past season due to a remarkable drought that occurred in Sydney area all throughout winter. There were a lot of foals born long (4-6 weeks!) past their due date and a lot of mares seemed unable to come into season
Ask me any questions you have about New Zealand and Australia racing

Per PQ, Tom's Ready is at Red River Farms in Louisiana.

I have no attachment to this horse but I'm curious to know what standard Spendthrift had set for him, which he did not meet and was shipped out before his first crop hit the ground? He'll likely do better in a regional market of course, but I'm still curious.

He got 48 mares last year, too low for a first-year Spendthrift stallion in KY.

There are very few stallions that time never seems to touch and Malibu Moon is one of them.
