The popular stallion in Japan sired most recently multiple G1 winner Red Falx(JPN)[o/o Vermouth(JPN) by Sunday Silence(USA)], winner of the Sprint Stakes Octover 1st 2017.
Pas de Trois(JPN) 2007H [o/o Grand Pas de Deux(JPN) by Fuji Kiseki(JPN)] is standing at Lex Stud.
I have been a big fan of Swept Overboard since he was racing.
May he rest in Peace.

As a big fan of Swept Overboad myself, i'm pleased to announce that Red Falx will stand at Shadai Stallion Station from next year. :D :D :D
I would think that his speed and versatility will attract Japanese breeders to extend great Forty Niner - End Sweep sire-line!! 8-)

Can't wait for the Blood Horse issue with Kitten's Joy on the front as the leading sire of 2018. He also sits at 11th on the International Sires list.

He beats Candy Ride, who finishes second for the second year, and was largely boosted by Gun Runner's Pegasus (he's his highest earner for 2018) by $678,428. Scat Daddy is third.

The top three of the Leading General Sires list is extremely similar to last year's. Last year's had Unbridled's Song top the charts, who was deceased, with Candy Ride in second and Kitten's Joy third. Unbridled's Song, like Candy Ride this year, was largely boosted by 1 freak. This year, the third place finisher is a deceased sire.

Chamois Retired to Flying P Ranch in Alabama

~ If my memory serves, Flying P is owned by the Pruitt family which is responsible for a lot of the top Alabama-bred horses. They also do show horses.

Starspangledbanner ready to write the next chapter of his remarkable story
Life at stud can be pretty unforgiving, with few second chances on offer. However, when Starspangledbanner returned to Coolmore in Ireland in 2016, that is precisely what he had earned.

Now, with the sons and daughters he sired from that book of mares close to hitting the track, he is poised to take advantage of an opportunity that not so long ago seemed most unlikely.

I did the same with Swiss Yodeler about a half dozen years ago. Tried feeding him a peppermint, which he didn't like. He politely took it and held it between his teeth while I continued to love on him, then dropped it when I turned away. What a character lol.

It's not every day that you go into a stallion's paddock and hang out, but that was the case with former @WoodbineTB runner James Street. The multiple graded stakes winning son of El Prado was trained by @jcarrollracing and earned $637k.
