So what?
I could really say the same about half the stuff you post... but anyway, we often post photos of TBs on here and we often make comments about how they look. It’s perfectly fine to do so. We comment on colour, pretty tails, club foots, dinosaur heads, whatever. It’s not an insult to the horse, their ability, courage, talent, specialness, and yet people take it real personal. So the question was “so what”, and the answer is “because, I have every right to post a comment about a photo of a horse”.

Investia, I mean no disrespect to you and fully agree that you (and everyone else here) has the right to post as you wish. For me, the problem is not individual posts, but the frequent negativity in almost every topic. It isn't a matter of taking such negativity personally, but a reaction to the real drag on the ability to enjoy this forum when one has to wade through all the downers.

Good for Daiwa Major's sire-line, too! :D

If American Champion trainer Bobby Frankel gets a Champion horse named after him in England does Sir Henry Cecil gets a Champion horse named after him in India?

Kidding, I have no idea the namesake of Sir Cecil, but it's a nice name and nice horse nonetheless.

I'd love to see a headshot of Almond Eye without all that headgear. She seems to have a very pretty head...from what I can see of it. ;) :P

Evaluation of recent changes in genetic variability in Japanese thoroughbred population based on a short tandem repeat parentage panel

The integrity of thoroughbreds is maintained under strict regulation involving DNA parentage testing, which is robust in a population with high genetic variability. The genetic variability of the thoroughbred population is possibly fluctuating because of selective breeding that has focused on adaptations for racing performance. To monitor genetic variability within the population and the effectiveness of short tandem repeat (STR) parentage testing, we investigated allele frequencies and the exclusion probability (PE) of 16–17 loci of a parentage panel in the Japanese thoroughbred population over 15 years. Expected heterozygosities (He) of 14 loci indicated a decreasing trend, and the average He of the population decreased significantly.

File this under the “Sunday Silence effect”

The fixation towards Sunday Silence is without precedent in any other country/population. Danehill in Australia would be close but not as impactful (no pun intended).

Sunday Silence's sons continued to do super as broodmare sires, too, in late 2018.

Saturnalia(JPN), 2016C. Lord Kanaloa(JPN) x Cesario(JPN) by Special Week(JPN), won the G1 Hopeful Stakes 2000m turf at Nakayama on Dec 28th 2018.

Is Glory Vase a Sunday Silence's doppelganger ??

No way.

Pity, his coat color is totally different from Sunday Silence's..
This colt is a dark bay.
But Sunday Silence was a nearly-black, registered as brown.
Here below are some real picks of Glory Vase.

I would agree that he has uncanny markings, though. ;)
