Although this isn't a standard conformation shot, Chrome's flawless natural dressage-like trot says a lot about his conformation.

I would love to see a photo from straight on. I recall he is base narrow, turns out up front, and offset through the knees.
If that’s true, he’s a good example of an athlete who ran through that.

I mean, he is moving nicely up front, but if we are analyzing movement the way we analyze conformation here, you'd want his hind end more collected and underneath himself - if he was indeed a dressage horse.

He moves like a nice hunter... or a very nice racehorse.

Has there been any photos of I’ll Have Another since his return to the States? I’d love to see one.

^^That was taken a gazillion years ago, when he stood at Castleton Lyons. Well, maybe half a gazillion.

'Chrome's photo brings out the Pretty Pony lover lurking inside me. Gorgeous shot of a really handsome horse.
Profitable (IRE) looks like he should be covering QH mares. That butt!!! Holy Dash for Cash, Batman. :o
Al Kazeem (GB) is pretty well-endowed in the butt dept., too.
Unfortunately (IRE) is, unfortunately, well-named.

National Flag's front half is really attractive, but his hindquarters need a donation from Profitable (IRE). :P

He almost looks atrophied in the back, doesn’t he?

Yeah, really marked difference in muscularity/atrophy like that makes me wonder if he's been ill or injured his back somewhere. He was first his second last time out but was last in his final race in May. Hope he's alright and up to the job ahead.

Handsome horse, with a kind of old-fashioned look about him. Love the long, elegant neck.

Seahenge is somewhat what I'd expect Mendelhossen(sp?) to look like....little gawky and immature.

Scat Daddy certainly sired all types. Very little correlation among his offspring, other than talent.
