Deep Impact(JPN) x Lune d'Or(FR) by Green Tune(USA), nosed out Etario(JPN)(Stay Gold) in the G1 Kikuka Sho (Japanese St. Leger) 3000m at Kyoto, the last leg of the Triple Crown, and captured his first graded victory in his only fourth career start, to become the the Kikuka Sho champion with the least career starts on October 21st 2018.

Lys Gracieux(JPN), 2014F. Heart's Cry(JPN) x Liliside(FR) by American Post(GB), landed her first G1 title in the Queen Elizabeth 2 Cup 2200m turf at Kyoto on Nov 11th 2018!!
Before this race she had four G1 runner-up efforts in the 2016 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies, last season’s Oka Sho (Japanese 1000 Guineas) and Shuka Sho, and the Victoria Mile this past spring.
And her jockey Joao Moreira scored his first JRA G1 victory.

The Triple Crown for Fillies winner beat the boys and older rivals by a record-breaking 2:20.6, 1.5 seconds faster than the previous record set by Alkaased(USA) in 2005.
She improved her life-time record to 7-6-1-0.

TBH it's hard to tell because he's so dark and the legs blend in. When I first saw the photo I just thought he had one leg stretched out farther.

There is nothing in what I said that disputes he could run “fluidly” or that he was agile. He had conformation faults. He wasn’t perfect. It doesn’t lessen him and his legend.
Lots of horses have conformation faults and run through them (Flawlessly- great example).
He seems to have passed it along if you actually look at his progeny... and I seem to recall that sickle hocked horses do better on turf.

All I've EVER heard about him was how crooked his legs were, especially the back. It was one of the reasons he was sold to Japan. American breeders didn't want to breed to a horse that crooked. Obviously he was able to overcome that when he raced and so did his foals, etc. But there is no denying the horse was crooked.

Hell the Racing Hall of Fame has this, doubt they are going to let someone shit talk a horse on his HoF page unless its truth:
Bred in Kentucky by Oak Cliff Thoroughbreds, Sunday Silence didn’t seem destined for greatness, as his conformation was less than ideal. Trainer Gary Jones once said Sunday Silence’s hind legs “were so crooked they looked like coat hangers.” Bill Christine, a sportswriter for the Los Angeles Times, described the same legs as being “shaped like parentheses.”

I especially enjoyed it when Mr. Hancock talked about how Sunday pinned his ears in that epic Preakness stretch battle with Easy Goer.

"Sunday Silence spent a lifetime in search of respect, on the track and in the breeding shed. In the end, he earned it. The horse that was overlooked time and again became invaluable to the Japanese racing industry as a breed-shaping stallion. Once more, the last word belonged to Sunday Silence." No you misunderstand, at least with me, its more a wow he was crooked and its amazing how much he accomplished in spite of that. He was overlooked because of how he looked and I understand why US breeders didn't want to take a chance on him. I like Sunday Silence and Easy Goer, their epic Triple Crown is pretty much my first memories of horse racing and they will always stick with me. Sunday Silence had an incredible will to win. I think its fantastic that he went on to accomplish everything he did while racing and his unbelievable stud career. I also think its great that Zenya Yoshida took a risk on the horse and bought him for stud duty. I believe things happen for a reason, he was meant to go there. Just like Halo wasn't meant to be sold to France.
