Indy's Legacy (A.P. Indy x Coral Sea), a 3/4 brother to Cool Coal Man, debuts R4 on Sat. at GP. He has the same connections as his brother from another mother Take Charge Indy. He's facing Athens (1/2 to Pomeroy), Hartford (full to Dance Card, Tempted to Tapit), Juba (1/2 to Saint Anddan), Constitution (dam is 1/2 to Emcee, 2nd dam is 1/2 to Awesome Humor) and Smart Spree (dam is 1/2 to Archers Bay, Nashinda).

Superfection, who was the 1.2 million dollar half brother to Super Saver has been adopted by Samantha and he's currently working on flat work. He suffered an injury, so he never made it to the race track, so Samantha adopted him after his injury and has been rehabbing and retraining him ever since. Glad to know he's found a good home! And thanks to Winstar for sharing this info.

He's a nice-looking horse, and I'm glad that he's found an owner who will do everything to rehabilitate him. If he recovers from the injury, he could make an outstanding saddle horse...being by MdO and out of Super Saver should indicate some decent athletic ability.
He was originally bought by Sheikh Mo for that $1.2 million price...I wonder how he ended up with Samantha?

How wonderful- and half brother seems to be a sweet, silly type of horse- at least what I have seen from him on the cams.Summer Bird wrote:Superfection, who was the 1.2 million dollar half brother to Super Saver has been adopted by Samantha and he's currently working on flat work. He was a late scratch, didn't see why. Seamark (Distorted Humor x Ajina) won the race by open lengths.

TVG's Turdd Schrupp made a dismissive remark about Seamark winning at Golden Gate, but why wouldn't Darley run a good horse at that track to break its maiden? Sheikh Mo's 'home' track is Meydan...and what do Golden Gate and Meydan have in common? Yep, the Tapeta surface. If Darley is looking for runners who may excel at Meydan (for the Carnival, perhaps?), starting them at the Northern California track makes sense to me.

She's got to be named for Mary Cassatt, right? What a neat name if she is.mariasmon wrote:She won easily.mariasmon wrote:Cassatt, FHF's well regarded 3YO by Tapit o/o Justenufftime, is entered Thursday at FG in R9. Her dam is a 1/2 sister to Dreaming of Anna, etc.
