IWC. . . underwhelmed.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I like his colour. He’s got a shark fin wither, which makes his neck look ewed, or whatever that word is. He’ll probably look better once filled out. He doesn’t have a great bootie.
I’ve seen worse. I kinda think he looks like someone’s hunter.

I had no idea this horse existed.

Eastwood had talent, but was plagued with soundness issues, I think.

Well, his front ankles look scary enough. Dolphus--isn't he a half to somebody?

Dolphus is half to Rachel Alexandra.

Regardless, I'm not interested in any of these.

Not that it would effect his progeny but Dolphus has a droopy-doofus look.

Artie, Fiorente and Shocking all look well-fed, but Shocking is built like a linebacker.
I think he's gorgeous, and it's not like he appears to be FAT. But...that chest, shoulder and neck are like a massive heroic statue. His hindquarters remind me of Zenyatta's; Street Cry really passed some powerful engines on to his offspring.
I think I'm in love. :P

I refuse to believe that Shocking is a Thoroughbred that actually race in, and won, races

"...he didn't used to look like that"

I don't know. He may have put on a little more flesh, but in all those photos he still looks powerful, with that deep chest and shoulder and that thick, crested neck.
I'd ride that stallion into battle anytime.
