I have no idea how you can tell from those photos if he's on the smaller side. He looks to be an average TB height, based on all other photos of him. Not huge, not tiny. All the parts of him seem to be proportional, as well. He ran a lot and doesn't look like it. The breed could really use that kind of soundness, so I hope he's well-received.

I figured there was going to be an announcement about him going to stud in Kentucky since Baffert said he was bringing him along regardless of if he made the Classic field.

No. He has said the only stallion he will send her, Unbridled Forever and their dam, Lemons Forever to is MDO.

He's very peculiar about his matches I think.
Mostly, Tale of Verve x Forever Unbridled gives me a headache because of possible name combinations. Anyway I think UF and ToV are too closely related.

Regarding Free Drop Billy: There is a poster here who suggested that no two-year-old race should be given G1 status, except maybe the BC Juvenile. I didn't agree, but the fact that Spendthrift can now promote FDB as a G1 winner kind of makes the case for curtailing G1 ratings for 2yo stakes.

I totally missed the news about Bee Jersey being retired with a tendon injury in August. I forgot the horse existed, tbh.

An interesting career, it's a shame he got hurt when he seemed to be entering his prime.
