Looking through my local 2yo sale and I find a colt who has Serena's Song as his 3rd dam. Though my only knowledge of her is through this forum!

I looked it up and yes the granddaughter of Serena's Song resides at Westbury Stud in New Zealand but unfortunately keeps visiting Swiss Ace (yuck) Her 8yo son El Toranado races in Australia he has had 66 starts for 11 wins, 11 seconds, & 7 thirds

What is yuck about Swiss Ace? Never heard of him.

IMHO Swiss Ace (Secret Savings) is a very average stallion and most of his foals seem to take after the mare. He might have a high winners to runners ratio but they rarely have a second win.
From 5 racing crops he only has one or two stakeswinners and has served about 100 mares each year. Westbury have 5 other stallions that this mare could visit instead of visiting Swiss Ace the past 4 years in a row. #GiveHerAChance

My guess is that one of her co-owners will sign the ticket on Abel Tasman. Both have broodmares and they can outbid others because they're dissolving the partnership. But we'll see.

China Horse Club definitely is the larger/wealthier operation, but they're also pretty commercial. I wouldn't be surprised if she is sold outright to someone else.
