Didn't a half to I'll Have Another, by AP, sell at Keeneland? And not for much of a price, IIRC.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I think the Pharoah/Arch's Gal Edith filly was an out or an RNA.

I could be giving American breeders too much credit but I imagine that a half-sister (meaning broodmare prospect as well as racing) to a horse who almost won the Triple Crown, by a Triple Crown winner, would fetch a pretty penny.

Thanks, that's about what I remembered. I think I might have taken that one home too. :)

You got me thinking about names.
Saw the perfect name for a Secretariat offspring today.

The Crowd Roars

And it certainly did.

A full sibling to Irish Derby winner Latrobe broke her maiden today at Gowran Park. Pink Dogwood is entered in the Sept. 28 Rockfel Stakes (G2) and next month's bet365 Fillies' Mile (G1), both at Newmarket... I imagine she'll go to the latter off this win. Thrilled for Camelot who is having a cracking year as a sire in a world of Galileos

In the same field making her debut was a full sister to Found named The Tooth Fairy, she finished further back but I won't hold it against her, as she's starting late.

Well, nowadays it would do just as well for an AP offspring!

Patternrecognition (Adios Charlie x Almost a Valentine) won the Gr.II Kelso Stakes. The dam is a half-sister to Rigoletta, the dam of Battle of Midway.

Battle of Midway was fifth.

Unakite(JPN), 2016F. Johannesburg(USA) x Fusaichi Pandora(JPN) by Sunday Silence(USA), broke her maiden impressively at Nakayama 2R 1600m turf Sep 23rd 2018.
2-1-1-0.

She is a half to the 3yo champ filly Almond Eye(JPN)(by Lord Kanaloa) who goes for the Triple Crown for fillies in the G1 Shuka Sho Oct 14th.

Chamber (Tapit x Sightseek) just won the 4th at Belmont, a 7-furlong MSW for F&M 3yo + up. She tracked the front two, passed on the outside coming off the turn and, when she changed leads, she just opened up on the field. Nice filly for Juddmonte.

Kearney County (Stroll x Ivory Empress), McCraken’s half brother, won the 9th at Churchill Downs.

Going Out (Tapit x Forever Together) is about to run in the 6th at Belmont, a 1 1/16-mile AOC for F&M 3yo+up on the turf. She's a lovely mare and almost totally white now, but I think she's the longest shot in the field.

Nil Phet, the full brother to Soi Phet, is about to run in the 3rd at Santa Anita, a 6 1/2-furlong MSW for state bred 2yos. He looks a bit like his big bro. :D

Tapping Colors (Tapit half to Eskimo Kisses) broke her maiden at Belmont at age 5. Her Latest Film (War Front-Film Maker) was a decent second.

Nil Phet was 5th.

Anyone know what "Soi" and "Nil" Phet mean?

She was 6th. I'd like to see a picture of this almost white filly.
