Cuties!
RugbyGirl, I heard rumours Black Caviar went to Pharoah his first season in Aus... do you know if that's true?
[/quote]

Wishful thinking! She is in foal to I Am Invincible. She has only ever visited proven sires so far

Thanks I thought as much! As exciting as that would be, I was skeptical, but I couldn't seem to track down any additional information. As I understand her breeders have been a lot less forthcoming about her breeding career since PETA people and AR people went after them when she initially retired as a broodmare. :(
A filly named Ruffian...

Eine Stute namens Danedream...

Une pouliche se nommant Trêve...

Most people I tell are shocked to learn that PETA and similar associates don't actually know anything about animals, or even care; these are the same people that campaign cow's milk causes autism and steal pets off of peoples' porches to euthanizes.

Sigh. I kind of wish people wouldn't buckle to their wishes as much as they do. They're a terrorist organization and should be treated as such.

PETA has done some good work in exposing mistreatment of food and dairy livestock, but it's like its most vocal and extreme members have become the face of the organization. When they started pushing an agenda that would remove horses from any sort of work, they lost me.
Not just extreme, but pretty stupid. Did they ever think it through about what the consequences would be for the horses if they got their way?

They don't want animals owned by people at all. In PETA's perfect world all animals would be released to run "free" and live naturally. AKA starve to death, get killed by predators, get hit by cars...

I have no idea if this is Arrowfield's idea or one of their interns/social media gurus suggested it to them... but I'm still LOLing.

Bhima Thoroughbreds @BhimaTBreds

Waytoohigh - a half-sister to two stakes placed runners - wanted to show off her her lovely @ArrowfieldStud Maurice filly so much that she foaled during lunch yesterday so everyone could check the new addition out.

Colt by Swipe out of Taxiformissbyron (Byron). The mare is apparently owned by the breeders of Swipe. Interesting.
