Less-than-good-news; that was a $40,000 claiming race...and this ridgling sold for $520,000 as a yearling two years ago.

Princesa Carolina (Tapit x Pure Clan) just won the 6th at Saratoga, a 1 1/16-mile MSW for 2yo fillies on the turf. She's a tall, long-striding grey, who looks like she's still a bit green, so I can't wait to see what she can do when she figures it all out.

Once again, they aren’t related to anyone famous, but they are related.

Rebel Bull (G. by Flashy Bull) and Marina’s Legacy (M. by Divine Park) are both out of the Theatrical mare Marina. They both contested stakes at Indiana Grand yesterday. Five year-old Rebel Bull finished second in the A. J. Foyt Stakes and the four year-old Marina’s Legacy won the Florence Henderson Stakes.

They are both bred and owned by Bone Doctors Stable and trained by Aaron West.

The Indiana Grand Stakes drew a field full of good families. Several Ramseys too.

High Tech (Data Link x Trophy Wife), whose second dam is Pleasant Home, finished.

Pleasant Home won the 2005 Breeders Cup Distaff.

Beach Waltz (Treasure Beach x Kitten's Dancer) finished third.

Kitten's Dancer is a full sister to SW Gung Ho, and a half-sister to Gr.I winner Bigger Picture.

Drinks On Me (Stay Thirsty x High On Kitten) finished fourth.

High On Kitten is a full-sister to GSW Csaba and GSPSW Kitten's Queen.

In the Mood (Eskendereya x Sisterhood) finished 7th.

Sisterhood is a full-sister to GSW Cozy Kitten.

He is a 1/2 to Kingman(GB), too.
