Can a foal continue to change color after their winter coat has been shed out completely?

Absolutely.

The foal shed is traditionally always the darkest the coat will ever be, and is not indicative of adult shade.
Once the foal has shed their initial winter coat, you should have a better idea of actual adult shade.

Greys obviously continue to change over their lifetime, as well as horses carrying Lp (leopard complex).

In my experience that would be yes... hence why you sometimes hear about "rose" greys who may take a few years to completely grey out from their chestnut or bay base coats. Some of the Tapits seem to grey out really quickly, but others might be more subtle.

I am not an expert though!

As Lurky mentioned, yes they can.

Some chestnut foals can be hard to tag as grey early on, unless you see newborn photos. The hyper-pigmentation of grey foals is usually much more pronounced on black based babies. Red foals that will grey have dark skin at birth, where normal red foals have salmon coloured skin around their nose and eyes for a few days. Most red grey babies still display a more adult shade of chestnut, with no fawn coloured foal camo on the legs and belly.

Later greying, red based babies can 'look' chestnut well into their 2 and 3 year old year, depending on how quickly the grey effects the coat.

A while back I saw a horse on Twitter that caught my eye for his tail. When looking up his photo, I saw there was a report of him on PQ being pulled up and vanned off after the Lure Stakes last November. No works on Equibase since then. Any reports filed with the Jockey Club?

Sadly we have to retire Ample Sufficiency from racing. We gave him a chance, but his old fracture will inhibit him from making it back to the races. He’s a beauty of a racehorse; his bay color and grey tail make him one of kind. Looking for a good home so DM if interested!

Honestly I don't know, haha!
Buchi means spotted.
Ko could be a suffix for woman.
So Buchiko can make sense as a Japanese.

But... Butchini???
Buchi --> Butch --> Butchini <-- Puccini (Giacomo) ???
It sounds like an italianized name, haha.
But it's not translatable, anyway.

The "ini" sounded to me like they were thinking "Puccini" too... or like Donna Blini It's just the "Butch" part which for Westerners (and US especially) thinking cowboys or outlaws (Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid!), which seems out of sorts for this filly.

Maybe if they'd spelled it Buccini or Bucchini it wouldn't have looked so odd to me...

Sway back. There is a horse currently racing in NZ called Our King Sway with the most ridiculous sway back you have ever seen. Looks like the back of a mare that has had about 15 foals!

Yeah I was hoping it wasn't sway back (yet) given she's only a two year old, but... amazing that the NZ-bred you mention can race with it!

It is rare but some are born with it. Our King Sway is a 8yo with 40 odd races and even a G3 win! He returns from a break this weekend. Oddly (or not) I can't find a pic of him without his saddle on this was the best I could do
