Perhaps the only example of a stallion standing at stud based on the state-bred stakes-winners under his second dam (the blue-collar blue hen Roberta Grump).

I don't think the photo conveys how BIG Cupid is. He is 2nd only to Uncle Mo at Ashford.

They list him at 16.3, but he's probably 17 hands, if not a little more. Pictures don't really convey how enormous he is, either.

Thanks. It would be something to see him in the flesh.

Here are two videos that "kind of" convey Uncle Mo's size. They were both made a year or two ago.

He's beautiful, and yeah, very big. He didn't come out of his stall when we visited, but it was nice to him in the flesh nonetheless.

Uncle Mo is not only a massive but his sons are too. I saw Outwork @ WinStar this spring and boy was he ever tall. I felt so small when he turned around to look at me as I was trying to snap the pic below.

Uncle Mo and Outwork are what the internet likes to call "Absolute Units".

Anyone know how tall Nyquist is?

Advertised 16.1, but I'd be surprised if that's not enhanced a tad. I didn't see him last year, though, so it's definitely possible he's grown since.

I don’t remember Uncle Mo being that big when he raced, did he do a bunch of growing?
And if so, imagine how nice it would have been to see him run as a mature horse, considering his pedigree leans towards being better as he got older. He was precocious enough to be very good at 2, but I wonder if that is what ruined him.
He’s a handsome horse, for sure.

I saw Nyquist in April, he's no where near as big as his sire. I'll see if I have a pic.
