Hi Jane, I'm so happy for Keiai Gerbera, her son Keiai Nautique and their connections.
Let me repost Keiai Gerbera's PPs I made when she retired from racing.
It was more than six years ago.
Time really flies....

I'm not sure if all Smaty fans remember this.
But, as you may see in the PPs above, Keiai Gerbera did not seem to like left-handed course.
Keiai Gerbera had many fans followings in Japan and most of us remember that Keiai Gerbera was a right-hander.
That's one of the reasons why we worried a bit about her son Keiai Nautique's fitness to the NHK Mile Cup that was run at the left-handed course at Tokyo. He was a 12/1.
But he handled it beautifully!!!!
We don't know yet where he willl be pointed to next.
He will take his summer vacation.
Her jockey Yusuke Fujioka, who grabbed his first G1 title with Keiai Nautique , commented, this colt may get extra distance without problem.
