And due to other difficulties beyond my control I am lucky to have been able to enter the race at all. My mother is 85, has terminal lung cancer, and was having seizures starting Thursday night. I have not been able to have my usual concentration. The cancer has hit her brain. She was on life support until early this morning. They have managed to get her off of that, but there is no telling if she will be coming home or going into a nursing home.
