Horse is SUING abusive owner

I read about this and am upset over it. If this becomes a regular practice. No one will own horses or sell them . Everyone has a different definition on the word abuse or neglect. Its opening a can of worms that i believe will harm horses in the long run. Im trying to look at the big picture.

This is abject abuse. And the lenient punishment handed out by Courts has not remotely stopped horribly owners from doing it. The bigger picture here is the law and courts need to get serious about animal abuse. If only said animal rights group would use this to defend wild horses and burros from the roundups...
