Can’t tell you how cool it was to watch freshly minted G1 winner YOSHIDA dominate @ChurchillDowns on Saturday. His grandfather SUNDAY SILENCE was as tough in retirement as he was on the track. His legacy is now firmly cemented world over. Myself & himself 20 years ago in Hokkaido

This is so exciting and rewarding for those of us who believed in Sunday Silence since his racing days. I love Study of Man's pedigree too. Storm Cat and Miesque...could not get any better on the dam side.tachyon wrote:Study of Man(IRE), 2015C. Love the commentary from these two, so full of praise for their colt!tachyon wrote: -- Réaction de Pascal Bary et Stéphane Pasquier

Hat Trick didn't return from Brazil after shuttling in 2017. He wasn't appreciated in the US, there was no reason to send him back. He covered 19 mares in 2017, its not worth to shuttle a stallion back for that.Treve wrote:Love the commentary from these two, so full of praise for their colt!tachyon wrote: -- Réaction de Pascal Bary et Stéphane Pasquier

On that note... if I have kept track right, Deep Impact has capture English, French and Japanese Classics this year alone!? I think it's only a matter of time before US breeders give another look to the Sunday Silence sireline. Especially with Hat Trick's quiet performance last year on the world stage as well as his son Darbisim off to a resounding start. Sure hope Gainesway keeps him around.
