I received word about '18 It's In His Kiss's filly. She lost her fight, and was humanely euthanized.

Awww, heartbreaking. She was a fighter, but the odds were too long against her. RIP little darling.

Not an easy thing.

I try to take comfort in the new ones that do fine, like the Quality Road x Easy Living foal above. The filly's fluffy orange ear hair, blissful loving up to her momma, and funny yawn are tonic for my tired soul.

I really love this picture, Ridan. I don't usually post pictures of foals that aren't from US horses, unless they're famous. Sounds like this is her first foal.

Lurkey, the video is cuteness x 1000, lol. The foal's reaction when touching the cold snow with its nose is a hoot, and momma checking out the camera after her baby does is great.
