Thanks for posting this.
I can't wait for his seasonal debut, as he hasn't raced since his G3 win at Belmont Park in October last year.
I'm glad that he is trained by the great Bill Mott. :D

In the meantime, Hilda's Passion's 4th foal (colt by Orfevre) has been named Chef d'Oeuvre(JPN).

-- Hilda's Passion's breeding record:

http://www.jbis.jp/horse/0001157827/broodmare/info/

2013 : Sieg Kaiser(JPN) colt by Deep Impact(JPN) : 9-3-1-1
2014 : Yoshida(JPN) colt by Heart's Cry(JPN) : 7-3-3-0, G3 winner in the US
2015 : Weltherrschaft(JPN) colt by Deep Impact(JPN) : 2-1-0-0
2016 : Chef d'Oeuvre(JPN) colt by Orfevre(JPN)
2017 : unnamed filly by Deep Impact(JPN)
2018: in foal to Duramente(JPN)

Yoshida is Hilda's Passion's only black-type to date.

However given all her starters have been winners that is an excellent broodmare record already!

Solid Dream(GB) sustained a chip fracture after he passed a gate test in November last year.
Then he had a surgery and has just started to walk recently.

Here's the most recent update on the 3yo colt Solid Dream(GB)[Frankel(GB) x Danedream(GER)] who is now excercising mainly on a treadmill after his injury.
He might start to walk with rider up soon, eying his debut at Hakodate in between June and July.

Glad to have some news!
I was bummed when Nothing But Dreams suffered a tendon injury and was retired without ever starting, hoping Solid Dream can make his illustrious parents proud!

That back left foot is ugly, where was the chip?

It was in his front right knee (carpal bone).

He looks slightly club-footed. Not the end of the world. I think Danedream has a slightly clubbed hind as well.

"Slight" is a bit generous :) , hind feet are more angled/narrow than fronts. Definitely not the end of the world if the horse stays sound on it and it doesn't cause compensatory issues elsewhere. . .

I say slight because his pastern doesn't seem very visibly affected as it would in a severe case. Also I can't zoom in on the pictures and on the older pictures (where his hooves aren't shined) the angle doesn't look quite as drastic... so I wasn't sure if I was seeing correctly. I like to be certain before using confident adjectives

I did look at all the pictures and it is evident in all of them. And yes, the pastern is visibly straighter. It also appears that his right hind has an angular deformity as it also shows in all 3 pics (and video). However, that foot/pastern is a more normal angle. Having put a horse down last summer that we could no longer keep comfortable on an upright foot, I may be sensitive to such things. . .

Sorry, but even if the foot wasn't iffy, I don't find him to be very attractive. Great parents, but maybe not the best results in this boy.
Now watch him turn into a G1 racehorse.

Well he does have a very nice hind end/shoulder on him and is a scopey looking colt. The time off probably didn't help him in the developed look category.

A very inquisitive/intelligent face!

It's evident of course that's not what I'm disputing, I'm just saying it isn't drastic enough that I'd hit the ceiling and start panic just yet :P . I probably didn't express myself clearly in the sense that "I know I saw the foot is clubbed and the angles aren't great, but I wasn't sure exactly how bad or not that it was"... we had a quarter horse with a club foot that also became navicular, so I know how badly things can go, unfortunately :( Sorry to hear about your horse as well.

And I agree, he's not all bad and I think given time to develop and get back working he will be a different horse entirely. But even if he weren't a looker... neither was Kincsem. Didn't hurt her record. :D

Will's Pioneer (Pioneerof the Nile x Holy Bubbette, full to Cairo Prince) is set to make his debut March 22nd at Oaklawn in the 7th.
Facing the Asmussen trainee in the 6f MSW will be (amongst others) sons of Maclean's Music, Twirling Candy, Ghostzapper, Tapizar, Super Saver, Congrats and Data Link.
Considering he's a 3yo they really took their time with him...

He finished 2nd by 3 3/4 Lengths behind the other Asmussen trainee, Share the Upside (Maclean's Music x Mystic Silver). He was ahead by 1 1/4 length of the betting/ML favourite.
