Someone on the bloodhorse forum posted that to honor and serve is relocating from gainesway to soko(I assume they mean South Korea) I’ve had not seen an official announcement and was wondering if it’s true? I thought he was doing decently as a sire. So the news blindsided me

it was reported in the stallion news thread, too. with everyone and their grandma going to the same top 8ish stallions, and a number of farms here quick to turn around with their stallions if they aren't immediately rivaling tapit* (lookin' at you, winstar), i'm not surprised. i read he bred 14 mares last year.

*-exaggeration, you all get what i mean

This is no surprise. He has had one Stakes winner in Panama and that was a 2yo from his first crop. He hasn't had one since. Breeders aren't going to send mares to a stallion that can't produce stakes winners.

here's the article
https://www.horseracingnation.com/news/ ... nfirms_123
The 10-year-old son of Bernardini, out of the Deputy Minister Mare Pilfer, was originally scheduled to stand in 2018 at Gainesway in Kentucky for an advertised fee of $7,500.

Among the horse's progeny from his first crop is State Of Honor, who ran in the 2017 Kentucky Derby.
Korean interest in him stems from runs by Cheongdam Dokki, sold for $20,000 as a Keeneland yearling. The son of To Honor and Serve won the Group 2 KRA Cup Classic last October and swept three starts before that by a combined 36 lengths.
