Honor Code has had a nice summer, with horses like Max Player, who won the JCGC at Saratoga.
Today his Bama Breeze just won a $156,600 1 5/16-mile AOC at Kentucky Downs over a good field, including G1 winner Henley's Joy.

He really has. Bama has run some nice races, but his connections have been trying to get him to lay closer to the pace so he doesn’t have so much ground to make up. Although he still closed today, he was closer, and he showed a really nice kick - and gameness- to win.

Cavalry Charge is another HC turf horse to look for - he also won well a few days ago at KD.

Twenty Twice should be running at CD. I’m so excited for his return as I think he’s very talented, and Jack is extremely high on him.

He’s got some nice babies. Feel the Fear is a fast, undefeated SW. Chancellor Bay ran a good 4th in the Sapling - after some trouble; he’s a big colt, out of a Smart Strike mare, and definitely wants to run long. Code for Success broke her maiden in her debut at Ellis...she’s a good one.

Creed should be back with Shug by now; per Shug, he had significant bruising of his condyles, and they gave him extra time. That would explain his poor performances earlier this year,

Keep an eye on Above Suspicion, trained by Mandella. She’s good.

Going into his last, I loved this horse - never stopped, but he just didn’t have it. I’m so glad that they used his speed today...he’s probably better going a little shorter, but CC is very talented, and determined

Honor Code had two very talented NY bred 3 year olds - trained by Pletcher - win at Belmont recently, Golden Code and Best Idea.
