I think the Brogden's must scour the country looking for well-bred broodmare prospects. They even claimed one from us that we didn't want to lose. At least we could console ourselves knowing she got a good home.

Adorable foals all. One question about the Chrome filly out of the Bluegrass Cat mare: The filly's right rear pastern is very straight. Is that something which will correct itself as the foal gets older and stronger? She was only 12 hours old in that photo.

Very likely. You can't really look at leg conformation of newborns.

I thought that she was possibly shifting her weight at that moment, which could give the impression that the pastern wasn't flexing like the other three.
