As we talking blue blood; SALACIA (Deep Impact x Salomina) will also make her racecourse debut that day.

Dam only went up and won the Gr1 GERMAN OAKS. @ErnurInanc

Salacia looks a lot like Deep Impact; 3 very identical white socks #sameplace #samesize

Here are some updates about Solid Dream(GB), 2015C. Frankel(GB) x Danedream(GER), from a fan who visited him at the Shadai's training facility in Miyagi Prefecture on Jan 6th 2018.

Solid Dream(GB) sustained a chip fracture after he passed a gate test in November last year.
Then he had a surgery and has just started to walk recently.

Westwood (Bernardini x Ashado) just won the 6th at Aqueduct, a 6 1/2-furlong Allowance. I know there were high hopes for this well-bred colt; maybe he's starting to blossom as an older horse.

The 4th at Santa Anita has a lot of pedigree:

Lady Mamba (War Front/Siren Serenade)
Malibu Model (1/2 to McKinzie)
Achira (dam is full to Giacomo)
Golden Kitten (full to Big Blue Kitten)
Golden Age (Bernardini/Vision in Gold)

Achira won comfortably over Lady Mamba. Golden Age was way last. Didn't see where the other 2 wound up.

But...the most impressive debut winner in JRA today was Grand Fort(JPN), 2015C. Heart's Cry(JPN) x Killer Graces(USA) by Congaree(USA). :D :D

I was a biiiiiiiiiiiig fan of Congaree.
And I am now rooting for this MASSIVE colt who I think could be something special. :D

He's gorgeous! Does Japan still have a Kentucky Derby prep to come that this impressive three-year-old could run in?

Santa Anita: Lifeline wins comeback in Sunday's seventh
A 4-year-old, Lifeline has won 2 of 4 starts. He won a maiden race at 1 1-8 miles on turf in his second start on April 1, 2017 but was a well-beaten fourth in an optional claimer on dirt on April 29 last year. Lifeline was diagnosed with a bone chip in a knee after that race which kept him off the track until Sunday.

Lifeline is trained by Richard Mandella for owners and breeders Marty and Pam Wygod. Mandella said after Sunday's race he remains hopeful Lifeline can develop into a turf marathon stakes runner this year.

Lifeline finished 1st by 3/4 lengths, on January 21, 2018, at SANTA ANITA PARK in Race 7.
Off odds: 2.40

The final leg for the ''Japan Road to the Kentucky Derby'' will be the Hyacinth Stakes 1600m dirt at Tokyo in February.
Epicharis won it last year.
I don't know yet if Grand Fort will be pointed to this prep race next, though.

Thanks for the info. I hope we get to see Grand Fort in the Hyacinth. Or maybe his connections will be ambitious and try the UAE Derby at Meydan.
