Ah, thanks for that.
He finished 3rd. Seems like it'd be worth taking a shot with him on dirt.

First Jumpout For Caviar Colt
Prince Of Caviar (Aus) (Sebring {Aus}), the second foal out of world champion sprinter Black Caviar (Aus) (Bel Esprit {Aus}), had his first jumpout at Flemington on Friday morning (video). Wayne Hawkes, who trains the 2-year-old with his father John and brother Michael, told Racing.com after the 800 metre piece of work, “He was good. That’s the most he’s ever done. He had a good little look around. Dwayne [Dunn] could have swivelled him to the front if he wanted to, but we didn’t want that. We wanted to go back, have horses around him, get a bit of mud thrown in his face and teach him what it’s about to be in the ruck. As my father always told me, there’s no money in jumpouts and barrier trials–you wait until raceday.”

Congrats to him! That's the biggest jumps race of the year. And quite the upset over several European invaders.

At this point we ought to be calling Colonel John Mr. Hot Stuff's brother rather than the other way around.

Great photos; thanks for posting them.

Mr. Hot Stuff becoming a successful 'chaser has been such a pleasant surprise. And he's still as dreamy as ever.
