No Nay Never is such a chunk. Not that he looks bad, but I've seen QH stallions with less muscle.
War Command and Australia are nicely balanced, but Gold Ship looks so long-bodied he looks like a silver stretch limo.
Handsome, flashy Violence looks like a MdO, who I don't think has ever sired a homely horse.

It doesn't help that Gold Ship is really leaning forward in that photo. It's unfortunate that's the one they're using.

Maybe it's the only one they got where he was standing still?

Dang, I was thinking the same thing. It's the size of his head; it almost looks like someone used a headshot from a different photo, but got the proportions wrong when they copied the head on to this body.

I thought he'd make a nice hunter. But yeah, his head looks pony-sized. It doesn't hurt that he's greying out very prettily.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Dang, I was thinking the same thing. Not strictly a conformation photo, but it's such a beautiful image of the gorgeous California Chrome in his paddock at Haras Sumaya in Chile. On this day after the horrific Las Vegas massacre, it just seemed we all could use a bit of joy, beauty and innocence. Photo by: Juan Ignacio Bozzello — at Haras Sumaya.

He sure has that new-copper-penny-in-the-sun look down pat.
