Unfortunately he got off slowly then rushed up to catch the leaders then faded late. Finished 5th I think.

The winning BSF for the race was 95. Not a particularly stellar performance for anyone in the race. Timeline has run faster than that before.

Singing Bullet finished 3rd in the G2 Amsterdam Stakes today at Saratoga. So he is now G2 placed. Another black type performer for Hard Spun. Hopefully Singing Bullet has a stakes win in his future.

SNAP DECISION is entered in the (G2) National Miseum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes at Saratoga on Friday, August 4. 1 1/16 miles on the turf.

Hardened had a nice maiden win in race #3 at Saratoga today. His record is now 2-1-0-0. He had the highest odds in the race at 10-1. Led the whole way and hung on by a nose.

Yikes, another longwinded baby. GRATEFUL won race #3 at Saratoga today. 1-1/2 miles on the inner turf. 2:27 and change. She was up against older and the only 3yo in the field of 5. Nice win! Her record is now 7-3-3-1. She has never raced on the dirt. I wonder why. Broodmare sire is Unbridled's Song.

She totally missed the break. Hopped way up in the air. When they show the head on replay of the break you can see how high she hopped. Must have thought she could fly! Lol! She ended up trailing the field by a good bit at first. Kind of impressive that she still won after playing catch up like that.

A comment at horseracingnation.com said that TIMELINE is pointed to the G1 PA Derby on Sept 23 instead of Travers.
The comment said that Chad Brown said this a couple days ago, though I haven't seen any official quotes from Chad.

Maryland Pride won a maiden race #1 at Laurel Park today. His record is now 4-1-1-0. Kind of cool, since it was Maryland Pride Day at Laurel.

Nice update on Hard Facts, who is a track pony and show jumping now and based at Fair Hill.

Oh, wow, Rocketry and Grateful both entered in stakes races at Saratoga this weekend. Black Diamond Girl entered in a stakes at Suffolk Downs. All three are on Saturday.

Rocketry is entered in the $300K Grade 3 Saranac Stakes at 1 1/8 miles on the turf. Too short for him? Race #9; post time 5:36
Grateful is entered in the $200K Grade 3 Glens Falls Stakes at 1 3/8 miles on the turf. Race #12; post time 7: 17
Black Diamond Girl is entered in the $75K Steve Pini Memorial Stakes at 1 mile 70 yards on the turf. Race # 10; post time 5: 01

Grateful was a close 2nd in the Glens Falls, as she and Harmonize battled head to head down to the wire.

She was the only 3yo in the field, so I think she acquitted herself well. She did get a weight break, though, but I still think she showed promise. She didn't give up.
