American Pharoah's Full Brother Set for Del Mar Debutmariasmon wrote:St Patrick's Day is entered Sunday at Del Mar. Coolmore does own him, in case anyone hadn't figured that out.
St Patrick's Day, a 2-year-old Pioneerof the Nile colt out of the Yankee Gentleman mare Littleprincessemma, has already gone by a number of names early in his life.
His first owner, breeder Jane Lyon, named him Irish Pharoah. His new Coolmore connections changed it to St Patrick's Day, even though he was foaled in February. Exercise rider Dana Barnes calls him "Radar," for the way he has to inspect every detail of his surroundings.
Stonestreet Farm
But Bob Baffert calls him "Bro Bro" for a good enough reason.

Here's the yearling full sister to MAURICE & LUCAS. Doesn't look like her brothers but she's stunning.

He really zipped up there to catch the leaders early... weird trip but the first two were much the best. Looks like they were workmates a week ago, too! On pedigree I'd suspect Zatter will prefer shorter distances, but he looks like a good one.

Ironic that he lost to a Zayat horse, also trained by Baffert.barbaro111 wrote:mariasmon wrote:He was a good 2nd.mariasmon wrote:St Patrick's Day is entered Sunday at Del Mar. Coolmore does own him, in case anyone hadn't figured that out.
