Really wish to see him succeed, especially with the recent loss of Holy Bull.

A snappy looking Curlin colt (o/o the lovely River's Prayer) topped Day 1 for a cool million.

Cheapest horse sold -- $50,000 for a Shanghai Bobby x True Kiss colt.

2 highest RNA's both Tapits. $750K (colt o/o Tap Your Feet... colt is a half to Diamondrella, Bonnie Blue Flag) and $575K (colt o/o Warbling)

The colt o/o Unbridled Mistress sold for $420K. The filly o/o Soundwave was a RNA at $95K

The colt was very a real horse. The filly probably shouldn't have been in this select sale.

Co-sale topper at 1 million, Orb x Flashy American colt. Real looker. People are liking these Orbs.

1 million RNA -- War Front x Maryinsky filly. She's a half to Peeping Fawn, Thewayyouare, etc. 2nd dam is blue hen Blush With Pride. Not sure how she vetted, but how much more do they think she was worth?
$885K RNA -- POTN x Chattertown colt. Colt is a half to Laoban. Seems like a ton of money to say no to, but I guess they love him.

FWIW, she was purchased as a weanling last fall for $650k. The connections spent a lot of money at the November sales. Maybe they would just as soon keep her to race and eventually join the broodmare band if she didn't bring a high enough number to make it worthwhile to sell her.

All-time NYB Preferred Yearling Sale topping colt by Cairo Prince brought half a milly last night.

So we know quickly they can sell well. Now we need to wait and find out if they can run in the spring.

Still very bullish on Cairo prince off-spring and breeding to him at $15k (and probably more very soon).

I'm quite sad we don't have the old "TBC breeders" thread we used to have to keep track of all our "forum horses"

I'm not a breeder but even though his fee got a bump from when he started, I thought he was a steal, and seeing how tremendously popular he's been with buyers both with his weanlings and the yearling sales this year so far I really don't think you can go wrong here.
Bullish is a great word for it.

Holding my breath to see if they can run. I've heard mostly good things about his get so far - pretty and athletic.

Honestly, not yet. Best cross with him is a stakes placed Tapit mare who is in foal to Empire Maker this year. We have a couple of cheaper mares who will be bred in NY in 2018 that are candidates to CP. I'm sure at one will go to him. Stay tuned.....
