Ads for him are ubiquitous...even relentless...on TVG and other racing programming, so it doesn't seem like Claiborne is trusting that he's going to sell himself.
And comparing him to Secretariat and the other high-class stallions who occupied Stall 1 in years past doesn't make him equal to them.

So how many stallions have called Stall 1 home? Was there another horse after Eddington? Did I miss anyone? I had to look up Eddington, I couldn't remember his name, just that a Unbridled son was in the stall.

I don't think this is the first incidence I've heard of a Danzig son not having tons of lively swimmers.
The great Lure suffered from such poor fertility that Claiborne took an insurance payout on him. Coolmore then bought him from the insurance company and tried to improve his fertility. While he did manage to sire 119 foals, he was pensioned in 2003 at only 14 and was returned to Claiborne to live out his days.
